A single Zigbee 3.0 and Wi-Fi ecosystem for homes, villas, apartments and hotels — AG glass touch panels in 2, 4 and 6/8 module plates, 4″ to 10.1″ control panels, ceiling sensors, water management and door intercom.
How it goes together
Every Hawaii wall plate is assembled from three parts. Choose the plate size, drop in the key modules the room needs, then pick the finish. The same power body carries lighting, curtains, dimming, a socket or a gateway — so a room can be re-planned without re-wiring.
Tuya Zigbee relay block sized 2, 4 or 6/8 module. 110–250 V AC, LED load 300 W, resistive load up to 605 W. Sits in the back box.
1, 2, 4 or 6 key AG-glass face — or a rotary dimmer, a curtain key, a universal socket, or the Zigbee & BLE gateway face.
AG glass, aluminium or PC in the room's colour. Laser-etched icons and backlit key dots are specified per key.
2MD
3 × 3 in · ≈ 86 × 86 mm
Square face. One key module.
4MD
5 × 3 in · ≈ 127 × 86 mm
Two bays — keys, socket or gateway.
6MD / 8MD
8 × 3 in · ≈ 203 × 86 mm
Three bays. Up to 12 keys.
Mesh backbone for switches, sockets, curtain motors and battery sensors. Every gateway panel extends the mesh.
Control panels, ceiling sensors and IR blasters. BLE handles fast commissioning from the phone app.
Available on the 10.1″ panel for intercom video and rock-steady dashboards in large installations.
Specified per plate
Faces are specified per plate, so a corridor run and a living room can share electrical design and differ entirely in finish. Anti-glare (AG) glass is the standard face for key modules, dimmers, sockets and gateways.
Each key carries a pin-point indicator that stays dim at night and brightens on touch. Circuit icons can be laser-etched per key from the planner icon library — light, fan, appliance, curtain, scene and socket groups.
Zigbee 3.0 · 110–250 V AC
The square 86 mm plate — one key module in a standard back box. Up to six keys, or a rotary dimmer with a round level readout.

4″ · 8″ · 10.1″
Wall-mounted Android control panels — a dashboard for the whole installation, and the intercom answering point.
Square in-wall panel for a room or a zone. Clock, climate and favourite devices on the home screen; full device, scene and group lists one tap away.
Landscape panel with a side rotary knob for dimming, volume and climate. Tile grid covers lighting, curtains, air-conditioning and media.
The flagship entrance panel. Whole-home dashboard, scene art tiles, voice prompt bar and intercom answering on a single glass face.
X8 · 10.1 inch
The 10.1″ dashboard. Each room opens as a page of live tiles — AC, dimming, curtains, lights and sockets; the rail switches between control, scenes and groups, and the right-hand dial shows the weather and handles climate and dimming. Scene tiles are customer-skinned per project.
Local server · One dashboard
Above the switch panels sits a local Home Assistant server, commissioned and customised by Hawaii Automation. It is what turns separate products — Zigbee switches, cameras, a solar inverter, a split AC, white goods — into one dashboard with one login, running on hardware in the building rather than in somebody else's cloud.
Every Hawaii key, dimmer, curtain key and socket, through the Zigbee gateway — with per-room grouping and scenes.
Inverter production, PV string current and voltage, three-phase line voltages, daily and lifetime yield, per-appliance consumption.
Split and ducted AC as full thermostat cards — setpoint, mode, fan and swing — alongside room temperature and humidity sensors.
NVR and IP camera feeds, the H1X door station, motion events and snapshot alerts on a dedicated surveillance view.
Connected washers, refrigerators and water heaters — cycle state, remaining time, door state and energy history.
Prayer times, weather, presence and location, to-do lists and household routines built to the client's own request.
What we deliver
Hawaii Automation delivers the server, not just the switches: installation, integration, dashboard design and the automation logic behind it — then hands over a documented system the client can keep extending.
Home Assistant installed on dedicated local hardware with a static address, UPS-backed power, VLAN separation for cameras and IoT, and secure remote access over your own domain with TLS. No dependency on a vendor cloud for day-to-day control.
Zigbee coordinator paired to the Hawaii mesh, then every other system onboarded — inverter, NVR, air-conditioning, white goods, energy meters and the door station. Entities are renamed, grouped by room and given the right device classes so the dashboards and energy reports actually add up.
Custom Lovelace views per audience — a family overview, a solar view, surveillance, energy, history and a map. Card layouts, icons and artwork are designed to match the project, and the same dashboards render on the 4″, 8″ and 10.1″ wall panels.
Routines built in Home Assistant and Node-RED: presence-driven lighting, away mode, tank and pump control, AC scheduling, leak and smoke cut-offs. Push notifications go to Telegram or the mobile app, switchable per zone so the household can tune the noise.
File editor, code server and terminal access left in place, HACS configured for community add-ons, configuration backed up, and a walkthrough with the client. Remote support and change requests under an optional maintenance agreement.
Zigbee 3.0 · Wi-Fi & BLE
The inputs that make the switches automatic. Presence and motion sensors drive corridor and utility lighting; climate and leak sensors feed scenes and alerts; the IR blaster folds legacy air-conditioners into the same system.
mmWave radar holds the lights on for a motionless occupant — reading, desk work, sleep.
Microwave motion detection through ceiling finishes, for corridors, stairs and utility rooms.
Brings legacy IR air-conditioners, TVs and fans into the same scenes as the switch panels.
Track motor driven from any curtain key, scene or control panel; manual pull-to-start.
Open-close contact for entry alerts, away-mode arming and AC cut-off on an open window.
Floor probe for bathrooms, utility rooms and tank areas; pairs with the valve controller.
Photoelectric smoke alarm with local siren and a push alert to every paired phone.
Room climate feed for thermostat scenes, dehumidification and the panel home screens.
Tank level sensing with automatic pump start-stop, dry-run protection and overflow cut-off.
Motorised ball valve with a scheduler built in — garden irrigation, tank fill, roof lines and main shut-off. Runs to a timetable, to a litre target or straight from the app, and closes automatically when a paired leak sensor trips.
Door station for apartments, villas and hotels. Wide-angle camera with night-vision fill, card reader zone for RFID credentials and a single call button that rings every control panel and phone on the account.
Full electrical and network specification on request.
